Bangkok Motorbike Festival 2009 runs 1-3 May at CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand. If you like bikes and you're in Bangkok, you have today and tomorrow to get over and salivate over some really rather nice machines.
Everything from the latest Japanese, German and Italian sports, cruiser and mixed-nuttiness products are on offer, through a large assembly of classic and modern Harley Davidsons on to some very attractive Yamaha customs. You'll even find a few classic scoots and more eccentric wheels scattered about.
Ducati 350 Mark 3D
Here are some photos of a Ducati 350 Mark 3D from the late 1960s. This is a desmodromic air-cooled four-stroke single. There seems to be a surprising number of these little beauties in Bangkok. This is at least the third 250 or 350 I have seen in the last few years. I have also seen one of these chassis with a Yamaha SR single replacing the Ducati lump.More on flickr.
